Aims Of Our School

Mission Statement:

Saint Pius X Catholic High School is a Catholic School in which the Gospel message of the Kingdom of God is revealed through our work and through our relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

This is encompassed in the statement:

We aim to:

  • support the Mission of the Church, to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ
  • pursue academic excellence so that all in our school community have equal opportunity to develop their gifts and talents and fulfil their potential
  • strive to be a Cohesive Catholic Community to support the formation of each individual
  • create an environment where respect is the defining feature of our interactions with each other

  • our provision for Catechesis and Religious Education throughout the curriculum

  • ensuring a broad, balanced and personalised curriculum which is regularly reviewed to ensure its relevance and suitability

We will do this through

  • promoting equality, diversity, respect and cultural appreciation throughout the curriculum
